The atmosphere at Kamenovo depends entirely on when you show up. While most beaches on the Budva Riviera keep the same energy all day, this cove starts incredibly quiet and ends with a party.

Arrive before 09:30 AM to catch the bay at its calmest. Before the music starts and the crowds show up, the water is completely still and glows a bright turquoise. It’s the best time for a quiet swim or to bring a mask and snorkel to explore the rocky headlands on either side of the cove, where the visibility is excellent for spotting local fish.
The Active
Coastal Play
Because the bay is sheltered from large waves, it’s a great spot to get out on the water. You can rent a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) right on the beach and paddle along the cliffs toward the neighboring fishing village of Pržno. Back on land, head over to the volleyball court near the northern entrance. There is almost always a casual pickup game going during the afternoon, and it is easy to jump in.

The Tunnel Walk
For the absolute best arrival experience, walk to Kamenovo from neighboring Rafailovići.

By Car or Taxi
If you are arriving from Budva (6 km) or Petrovac (12 km), the main E65 highway runs directly past the beach.
Finding the Turnoff
Keep a close eye out for the signposts between Bečići and Pržno. The turnoff leads down a short, steep asphalt road directly to the beach parking area.
Taxis
A local taxi ride from central Budva to Kamenovo typically runs around €10–€15 one-way during the summer.
Parking Note
The parking lot directly behind the beach charges a flat rate of roughly €5 per day. It is partly shaded, but fills up rapidly on hot July and August weekends.

The Local Bus
The public bus system is highly efficient, incredibly cheap, and avoids any worries about finding a parking space.
- Mediteran Express: This reliable local bus runs constantly along the main coastal road linking Budva, Bečići, Sveti Stefan, and Petrovac.
- Bus Stop: Ask the driver to stop at the Kamenovo station on the highway.
- The Walk Down: From the bus stop, it is a brief, 5-minute walk down a paved pathway directly to the water’s edge.
