Tickets & Payment
Board through the front door and pay the driver directly. You do not buy tickets at kiosks or bus stations.
Credit cards and mobile payments are not accepted. Ensure you have small Euro coins or €5 notes ready.
The driver will hand you a small paper ticket. Keep this until you depart as proof of payment.
Small bags are free. There is no under-bus storage, so large suitcases must remain in the aisle.
Local Tip: Avoid paying with €20 or €50 notes. Drivers often run out of change early in the shift, and it can cause delays for other passengers.
How to Find the “Riva” Stop
Location Details
The Riva stop is the most popular boarding point for tourists. It is located directly on the main coastal road, right in front of the Old Town’s harbor side.
- Opposite the Sea Gate
- Next to the Green Market
- Near the Newsstand (Kiosk)
What to look for: There is no booth. Look for the word “BUS” painted in large yellow letters directly on the asphalt. Wait near the edge of the sidewalk where the letters are.
Beyond the Blue Line Bus
While the bus is the most affordable way to reach Stoliv, it can be unpredictable in the high season. For a more immersive experience, consider these departures from Kotor.
