Note: During the peak summer rush, Trsteno Beach fills up entirely almost instantly, making a pre-9:00 AM arrival non-negotiable if you want to claim any spot on the sand.

How to Get to Trsteno Beach
Trsteno Beach is located roughly 5 kilometers northwest of Central Budva, hidden in a sheltered limestone cut along the coastal road connecting Jaz Beach to Ploče.
Important Note: Do not attempt to walk to Trsteno from Jaz Beach. The connecting coastal road is narrow, completely lacks sidewalks and shade, features sharp blind corners, and handles highly erratic summer tourist traffic.
By Car or Scooter
The simplest route. From Budva, follow the main highway up and over the hill toward Kotor. At the new roundabout at the bottom of the descent, take the left exit for Jaz Beach. Instead of pulling into Jaz Beach, continue straight on the coastal road up and over the ridge for another 5 minutes until you see the Trsteno parking signs.
By Local Bus
During the peak summer season (June through August), the local Mediteran Express shuttle bus operates a reliable route explicitly connecting Budva Center to Jaz, Trsteno, and Ploče. Buses run roughly every 30 to 45 minutes from the Mediteranska Stop, costing around €2–€3 per direction.
By Taxi
A convenient option if you do not have wheels, but negotiate standard pricing before boarding. A fair taxi fare from the central Budva marina area directly to the Trsteno drop-off point should range between €12 and €18 each way, depending on traffic congestion.
